Abstract

One of the villages that still produces pottery in Aceh is Gampong Garot Cut, located in Indra Jaya sub-district, Pidie district. A significant challenge faced by pottery artisans in Gampong Garot Cut is the need to produce the right quantity of pottery to meet market demand. Therefore, a forecasting method is needed to assist artisans in estimating the amount of pottery that should be produced to match market needs and demands. This research is focused on determining a method to forecast the production quantity that should be carried out by Gampong Garot Cut to align with market requirements and demands, using forecasting techniques. The result of this research is a website that can be used for forecasting the quantity of pottery that should be produced using moving average and exponential smoothing methods. This website aims to assist Gampong Garot Cut in predicting future production quantities, based on important factors that can determine the appropriate amount of products to be produced.
